Radium is now available on Amazon Cloud!

The Radium team is happy to announce that Radium is now available for deployment on Amazon Cloud in all ten geographical regions. Our new community maintained Amazon Machine Instance (AMI) allows a user to launch their own Radium node as an Amazon EC2 instance in minutes. Amazon Cloud EC2 instances are some of the easiest and fasting launching virtual servers in the industry, making EC2 an excellent platform for hosting a Radium node.

Our public AMI comes with the latest Radium wallet, and is pre-synced up to April 7, 2016. Our AMI is located under the community AMI’s tab, in step 1 of the launch Instance Wizard. The radiumd daemon will start at boot, and will generate a fresh wallet.dat file the first time the AMI is launched. RPC connections are disabled by default, but can be enabled by editing the radium.conf and rebooting the instance. As always, make sure to review and set your own security groups correctly and follow safe networking practices.
